SOMETHING SINISTER 2
Mark, on the other hand wasn't too pleased with the way his boss posted him around. He felt used and under-appreciated; they sent him on errands to places they would send no one else to. It was unfair to him and he could see that Jane was losing the glimmer in her eyes. He recalled the first day he saw her; she was at the butcher's section in the market. She looked like she knew her way around the place so well that most of the sellers seemed to like her. She had an aura about herself, was it the way she walked? Or the way she laughed? He couldn't tell, but he knew she had won his heart. It was on that day that he noticed something in her eyes, it was like a spark, a twinkling, a glimmering twinkle and it was so beautiful. She looked like a happy baby that only needed to smile and ships would set sail but now, that twinkle was gone and it frightened him. He had resolved to quit his job if the news of another posting hit him and so far, there was none.
