MENTAL TEASER

Image
Stimulate your brain cells with this teaser: There are three switches downstairs. Each corresponds to one of the three light bulbs in the attic. You can turn the switches on and off and leave them in any position. How would you identify which switch corresponds to which light bulb, if you are only allowed one trip upstairs? We know you are very equal to the task.

INI: THE NAME 2

African names are so special because they have such significant meaning. The name INIOBONG is one of such names. Still in the native Ibibio dialect, INIOBONG means "God's time." Oh such beautiful name and it speaks volume. It brings to mind that though we have the times in which we want to have things done, God has His own time. The name sends a message to the heart that feels God is slow or has forsaken them. The name gives hope that in His time, all things are made perfect. Don't be on a different time zone when you are waiting on God for something.

Every passing day saw a new dimension of Jake's attraction to Mary. Things soon became worse as they were placed on the same seat by their PHE teacher. Jake's wishes were finally coming to pass. He wanted Mary to be his and sitting together was a good start. Silly little boy! He wanted to have her by his side at all time and he needed to know if the future held anything for them. "What do you want to become in the future?" he asked Mary one day in class. "A banker", she replied. A tornado began to rise within Jake on hearing that. He wanted to be a doctor and by virtue of their individual ambition and the arrangement of the Nigerian educational system, they will be separated. His imaginary, beautifully created world where Mary was the mother of his kids was almost crashing. He must think of something, and that thought had to come fast!

Smart, charming, articulate, intelligent, pretty, kind and affectionate. But one fascinating thing about her is her name - INIODU! In the native Ibibio dialect, the name Iniodu translates to "there is time for everything." Of course there is time for everything. There is a time to be born and a time to begin to walk, a time to start school and a time to graduate, a time to get married and a time to become a parent yourself. Every human achievement has been marked to a certain time by the Creator. It will be a futile effort to try to fast track an event because you feel it's too far off. Also, it will be very sad to miss the time in which something was to be done; because getting it done later will mean sacrificing a whole lot. - Understand that there is time for everything. - A portion of time lost is a portion of life lost. For how do you measure the life of a person except with time. - Time cannot be controlled but can be managed. Manage your time wisel...

EVER GREEN LOVE

Daddee and mummee is what they are fondly called by their children and people around. Daddee, 70, and mummee, 62, have been married for over thirty five years. Before they got together, Daddee wanted another lady. She was just the perfect woman for him but certain circumstances prevented them from marrying each other. When Daddee made moves to have mummee as his bride, her family offered great resistance. They didn't like him, so he went back to his village. Normally in some parts of Africa, where you marry from is very important. Mummee's family wanted her to marry from their state and to the one they choose for her. She was so much in love with Daddee and so was obstinate to her people's demands. It was either him or no one else!

Are you smart enough to answer this? How can you throw a ball as hard as you can and have it come back to you, even if it doesn't bounce off anything? There is nothing attached to it, and no one else catches or throws it back to you. Drop your answer as a comment!
