THE HILL 2

So... From yesterday...

She pleaded with the camp security to let her into the stretch of land that once was a Christian student’s camp site. It was nothing but fate that summer because if it were left to her and not her parents, she would never have been there that day. But she was there and even though she knew that her parents wanted to punish her for sneaking out to a party without their permission, she found him. He was the only good thing that came out of those 10 days, the only good thing she had held on to all these years. And now that he was gone, there was nothing left.
She was wearing his jacket when she stumbled up the Hill; she had taken out of the pile of his most precious belongings which she had kept after his death, she hadn’t touched them till today, she hadn’t even cried, she was never going to. It was at the Hill that she first saw him. He was beautiful. Something about him called out to her. All eyes were closed and everyone but her was praying, she was heard him singing deeply as though he saw something that touched him. He sounded different from every other person there, he looked like he really wanted to be there, he somehow glowed or maybe it was the camp fire in the distance behind him. She couldn’t understand it but that was one of the best days of her life.
Here she was again, no one in sight but just her and a memory of him and surprisingly, the old cross that was the highlight of the Hill back then. She was surprised that it was still there after all these years. Well, that didn’t matter to her because she had no business with a pile of woods.
She stuck her hand deep into the jacket pocket hoping to retrieve the pen knife she had carried with which to slash her wrists but instead she found a note....

We'll continue with the contents of the note for you soon.
