All the characters in this series have been made to play a role which is the reverse of what obtains in everyday Nigeria/Africa. The pendulum of events and preference has always tilted in the favour of the male child. While i do not totally agree with this stereotypical outplay of events, i just cannot see why things cannot be different.

Every child is the same no matter their disabilities; every gender is equally precious and unique. If we are truly grateful for having children then let’s prove it by not making one child feel like she or he would rather have never been born. This is only the tip of an age-old iceberg that may one day freeze out an important aspect of our society a whole.
