We have had to face many battles: the civil war, coups, ethnic and communal crises, religious conflict, terrorism, polio, malaria, Ebola, corruption and many others. But we have shown our resilience and perseverance as a nation.

The giant of Africa is what we are called and we shall continue to stand tall.
