Becky had been thrown into an emotional tornado and this wasn't good for her as her degree examination was few weeks away. The discovery of Mike's relationship had so much effect on her because she had created a mental utopia where she and Mike would live and grow old together. She had a list of specifications and only him fits in accurately. And the fact that the person who won her star prize was a misfit made her feel miserable.

She would not come out of her house for days and people began to worry about her well being. She cut off all form of communication with Mike and wished everyone would just disappear.

Some eight months passed and Mike was out of his relationship with Rose. They had been in it for close to two years and Rose still loved Mike but she wanted to get married. Mike was not financially ready to bear the demands of planning a wedding and raising a family. So they broke up, but kept in touch as though they never separated.

One evening, Becky scheduled a meeting for her and Mike to resolve their differences. Little did they know that that would result to a twist of fate. The meeting was suppose to be where they tender apologies to each other and go their ways without hard feelings for the other but they ended up engaging themselves. Mike did not know what came over him, and Becky was so on top of the world. She could not explain his sudden change of mind too but it did not matter to her. All she knew was that her Mike had returned to her and this time she would not let him be taken by anyone.
