THE UNTHINKABLE 3

She jerked at the knock on the door. It was horribly loud. She could have screamed at the knocker, but she went to the door quietly. She opened the door and frankly, to her dismay it was one of them again. He had come to mock her, she mused. Before she could say a word, he grabbed her by the waist. ‘Oh no! Why the waist? Not the waist!’ she said within her. She tried to break free but he knew her too well. They had a past and he was determined on making it into the present. She fought him with all her might but she knew he would win, he always won and he did.
After he had gone, she felt miserable, used and cheap. Most of all, she felt guilty. She WAS guilty. She was betrothed to her love but she had let her mocker, her past, in. She gave him an inch but he took a mile. She opened her door to him and he went into her. She wasn’t the type to cry but she did.
